County seat: Terre Haute
Vigo County is the largest of the seven West Central Indiana counties in population and is the region’s hub for employment, retail, health care, education, the arts, entertainment and related services. It offers employers the advantage of a large, skilled and trainable workforce and is at the center of the region’s vital transportation networks.
